Glenn William Custer, 59, died at the scene of the shooting on Sunday, Pennsylvania state police said in a statement released on Monday morning.

As he approached the original home, he refused to listen to police and one trooper shot Custer— killing him, the release states.

Traffic was diverted from the area for many hours but the scene was announced to no long be active with no threat to the public on Monday around 9:30 a.m., by State Trooper Meghan Ammerman.

The investigation is still ongoing, police say.
